If you have the HTML for your property-specific header and footers for your emails you can add the HTML to the Parent Template which will import your header and footer on all emails that are being sent through the VTS Activate for Multifamily platform.
| Note: The parent template must be in all HTML, if you need to include an image, it must be hosted on a webpage and then linked in the template. If you need help setting up the template, reach out to your Marketing or IT team. |
Step 1
From the Admin Portal, select Settings located in the left navigation menu and then select Email Templates.
Step 2
Select the three dots next to the User Registration email template, and then Edit in the drop-down.
Step 3
Configure the HTML for your parent template. Leave any words in brackets as they are as they are hardcoded and connected to your property's settings. You can update the "From" email address and "From" name here.
To include an image banner in your Parent Template, update Line 23: <td class="layouts-here"><!--Pre Header -->

This will insert a header into the emails sent out on your behalf.
Step 4
After you have finished configuring the HTML, you can preview the changes you have made or save the updates. Select the appropriate option at the bottom of the screen.
